Michael Moignard spent 35 years as an Australian public servant working in trade and resources policy, and trade promotion. He holds a Masters in Science (Chemistry) from the University of Melbourne, a B.A. (Hons) in History and Economics from ANU, and a Diploma of Education from La Trobe University. Michael spent close to 7 years in India, as Senior Trade Commissioner for South Asia with the Australian High Commission in New Delhi. He also served with the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) in New York, Santiago de Chile, Manila, and Singapore.
Michael is the author of "Unfinished Business: Re-imaging the Australia - India Economic Relationship" Australia India Institute, August 2013, and "Innovative pathways for services trade and investment" in Hullabaloo, the Fuss About the India - Australia Relationship, Australia - India Institute, October 2014.
Michael is Fellow of the Australia India Institute.
Stephen Manallack is a Director of the EastWest Academy and the author of three books including Soft Skills for a Flat World published by Tata McGraw-Hill India in December 2012 - providing insights into the "10 mindsets" of Indian business. He is alsoa regular commentator on Indian business and global communication skills for the USA based ASIA TODAY online news and information service and writes an occasional blog for Australia India Institute. He serves on the Judging Panel for the Annual Business Awards of the Indian Executive Club in Melbourne.
Stephen's first book, You Can Communicate, was published by Pearson Education in 2002. His second, Riding the Elephant - Doing Business and Making Profits in Modern India Melbourne Books in 2010.
Martin Moignard has a Bachelor of International Development (La Trobe University 2014) and a Diploma of Business (International Trade) from RMIT. He has held various corporate and community roles with a focus on analysis, research and report writing.
